		We Provide best practice in caring, psycho-social support to orphans and vulnerable children and economic empowerment of the unemployed, out of school youth, women and people living with HIV and AIDS by implementing focused innovative strategies.

Children On the Move was founded in 2001 in direct response to the ever a growing number of orphans and vulnerable by HIV and AIDS and the need to economical empower out of School Youth and women to fight poverty and unemployment.

Children On the Move provides a valuable and needed service to orphans and vulnerable children people living with HIV and AIDS, out of school youth and abused women. Our caregivers look after 400 orphans and vulnerable children: provide breakfast, lunch boxes, prepared meals, assist with homework, conduct home visits (Home Based Care) support groups, psycho-social and spiritual support , sporting activities (soccer, netball and swimming).

In addressing poverty and unemployment which leads to vulnerablility of women and youth to indulge in questionable sexual behavior, substance abuse. Children On the Move trains vulnerable groups in job creation skills that empower them to access job opportunities or start their own businesses to avoid perpetual dependency on government grants.

Children On the Move is an offshoot of Leadership Focus an organization that trains church leaders, pastors, youth leaders and Sunday School teachers to work with children and youth. In the past 15 years leadership has trained more than 5000 leaders from 50 denominations in South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique and Lesotho.
